Engineered PVC Performance
Innovative Window Solutions Meeting Structural and Thermal Standards
VEKA’s Evolutions products have achieved CW classification under the 2008 North American Fenestration Standard (AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440-08). In response to evolving structural and thermal requirements in commercial window markets, VEKA emphasizes the use of existing aluminum mulling profiles with the 3-1/4" Evolutions frame, compatible with most aluminum window configurations.
Additionally, VEKA offers a Structural Mull that meets the rigorous Florida Building Code standards, ensuring long-term performance by anchoring to the rough opening and connecting with a structural aluminum extrusion. The Evolutions line of commercially rated PVC hung and sliding windows include single-hung, single-slider, double-hung, double-slider, and picture windows.
VEKA Evolutions Windows Excel in Energy Efficiency
All Evolutions products from VEKA Inc. have undergone computer simulation testing according to the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) standards for U-Factor, Solar Heat Gain Coefficient, Visible Light Transmittance, and Condensation Resistance.
The Evolutions sash design allows these systems to exceed the minimum NFRC and Energy Star requirements across all U.S. climate zones.
Additionally, they can be labeled as both CW (Commercially) rated and Energy Star compliant. PVC, a natural insulator, does not easily transmit heat, maintaining warmth during winter without needing a thermal break.
