VEKA sets industry standards for corporate social responsibility
VEKA has undertaken numerous CSR initiatives to prioritize employee safety through hazard mitigation efforts. Our Energy Manager has played a pivotal role in making our processes more responsive to demand, leveraging energy measurement systems and energy-efficient machinery.
We've implemented calibration tables that continually perform energy audits, benchmarking our facilities against others and making necessary adjustments for maximum impact.
Our commitment to environmental responsibility has deep roots, with our founder, Mr. Heinrich Laumann, leading the charge in pioneering post-consumer window recycling. Today, three facilities in Europe stand as a testament to Mr. Laumann's enduring legacy and his significant contributions to all three pillars of corporate social responsibility.
VEKA Group aims to be an economically robust, profitable, and eco-friendly company through three core areas. We focus on high-quality vinyl profiles compliant with building codes. Additionally, we prioritize recycling and environmental efficiency. Waste streams like wood, metal, old racks, old tooling, and cardboard are managed.
We recycle various materials, including start-up scrap, mixed scrap, customer cut-offs, and deck scrap.
VEKA Gives Back Days
At VEKA, we believe that giving back is more than a gesture—it’s a responsibility. Our VEKA Gives Back Days program is designed to encourage and reward employee participation in charitable giving and community support.
Each year, VEKA employees at each location can choose to support a number of designated charities. For each charity supported, participants earn one VEKA Day—equal to 8 hours of paid time off—up to a maximum of three VEKA Days per year.
Team members are welcome to contribute to all charities, the maximum number of VEKA Days granted is three.
Program Details:
Charity Options: Choose from approved charities
VEKA Days Earned: Up to 3 days (8 hours each)
Redemption: VEKA Days may only be used during designated company shutdown dates (dates to be announced)
Payout: VEKA Days are not eligible for direct cash payout

Every two years, VEKA publishes its CSR booklet "Future-friendly", offering a transparent look at our global sustainability efforts. The latest edition, covering 2023–2024, reinforces that sustainability is not a trend—it’s a strategic, structural, and cultural part of how we operate.
Our approach is built on a holistic framework that balances three key dimensions: business, society, and the environment. We believe that long-term responsibility means addressing all three.
