SwingView™ and SwingView™ Classic
As a part of the SwingView line of vinyl entry doors, VEKA design engineers have developed this new “traditional look” swing door to compliment its successful all welded 5” panel door, which was first shown at the Interglass Metal Show in New Orleans last October. This new SwingView derives the name from its classic configuration of 5” stiles, 6” header panel and 9”kick rail.

Mike Holmes, Special Accounts Director of VEKA states, “This current VEKA product offering was developed in response to requests from fabricators for an entry door that would replicate traditional door construction with which most consumers are already familiar.”

He goes on to say, “With mechanically fastened stiles and rails joined at 90 degree angles, this new 5-6-9 vinyl configuration is poised to fill the niche between the low cost steel swing door and the premium wood swing door.”

As with all SwingView products, these doors may be ordered as an in-swing or out-swing format in with the choice of white or almond colored vinyl. Because the door is constructed of solid vinyl, the color is consistent throughout the material.


Interior wood grain vinyl laminates in light oak, dark oak, dark cherry, white wood grain (that accurately simulates painted white wood) and red oak are all available. Also available is VEKA’s paintable/stainable laminate, which can be painted or stained to meet individual taste preferences.

One option for exterior color choices is the offline factory applied METREC color-coating pallet, offered only by VEKA. This UV reflective coating process enables various alternate traditional colors to be offered such as “hunter green” or “champagne”. The process also greatly reduces the heat build-up problems that can occur with extruded dark vinyl.

The SwingView door ships to fabricators with complete installation instructions, attractive corrosion resistant brass hardware, key operated multi-point locking mechanism with deadbolt, 4 anti-pick 3-way adjustable hinges that ensure a secure and proper field alignment of the installed door and a PVC brickmold finishing accessory. Brickmolds, transoms and sidelites are options that round out this solid factory build door offering. Glazing and screening options are at the discretion of the fabricator.
