New Canadian Account Manager
VEKA Promotes New Technical Account Manager in Western Canada

Fombell , Pennsylvania - VEKA, Inc. announces the promotion of a new Technical Account Manager for its Western Canadian customer base. Bill Jones, most recently the Production Manager for VEKA Canada in Edmonton, will now be the technical link for Canadian fabricators in the Western Territories. Bill will work closely with VEKA’s current customers on technical issues as well as prospective customers to help with manufacturing layouts, product jump-starts and tooling modifications.

Bill will also act as a liaison for products that come out of VEKA’s Corporate Headquarters in Fombell, PA and it’s sister facility in Reno, NV. Bill has been with VEKA since 1995 and has had various roles during his tenure. Bill has also developed outstanding relationships with his peers and customer base.

Chuck Spaulding, Vice President and COO states, “Bill’s prior experience and 15 year history within the VEKA organization has well prepared him for this position. His training as a machinist gained him employment at VEKA West. His performance soon lead to him being in charge of Process Technology in the Reno plant where as part of his job he assisted our window manufacturers with modifications to punch tooling as well as weld and drill fixtures.” Mr. Spaulding also adds, “his extrusion and tooling experience and his production scheduling, lead to the opportunity of Bill transferring to VEKA Canada as Production Manager in 2002. His extrusion and manufacturing knowledge as the Technical Account Manager will be a valuable asset to our customers.”

With Bill’s promotion, Karen Johnston will take over management of the Edmonton warehouse facility. Karen is a former Berlinex employee that remained with VEKA Canada after the transition of ownership in 2002.
